Ashok Kumar Gupta began in 1975 in his father's rice, grain and sugar business in Sadar Bazar. In 1983 he founded Agro Overseas in Naya Bazar.
Today traders, millers, industrialists and families come to him from across India. Some need goods at the right price. Some have work stuck in a government office. Some need to meet the right person.

Born into a Delhi trading family, Ashok Kumar Gupta learned the trade beside his father in Sadar Bazar. Over fifty years he has built deep standing in grain, sugar and metals, and with government departments, banks and property offices.
People know him for his experience, his standing and his plain way of talking. Most new work comes from people he has worked with before.
